Download Public Facebook Videos and Reels
Facebook serves most videos in an HD and an SD variant, but which of those exist depends entirely on the original upload. A phone-recorded video posted in 2014 has no HD version to fetch, and no tool can create one - anything claiming to upscale it is guessing at pixels that were never there.
Reels, feed videos and videos posted inside a Page are all reachable when they are public. Videos in private groups, friends-only posts and anything scoped to a custom audience are not, because that access is tied to an account rather than to the URL.
Facebook video links are often long and stuffed with tracking parameters. The stable part is the numeric video ID, so if a share link fails, opening the post and copying the address from your browser bar usually works better.
